Blogging, huh?

So, it was suggested to me to try a studio blog. I'm notorious for giving spotty updates on orders, so I'll be using this blog to keep ya'll in the loop as it were, as well as providing the general musings of a fairly confused mind. So bear with me! If you know me personally, you already know I'm half nuts most of the time.

I'll try to regularly post photos as well, so everyone can see how the tack you order goes from concepts and patterns to a finished piece. I hope the lighting will be better in my new home; it's been torture here to take any photos indoors.

I think the first project that I'll be starting this month will be for myself. Sorry, the the cobler's children have no shoes again. I recently acquired a dapple gray Huck in a trade, so I promptly purchased a long shank weymouth combo bit for him. I'll be making him a full SS set, and I'll try my hand at a proper saddleseat bridle with a red browband.

OH, and if you are attending MAR this month, I've donated a set of Jumper boots to the show. That's about the only thing I had time for this month!
